My how the time flies

Even when you're not having fun.
I am ashamed at how I have neglected blogging this past year. There are so many things that happen on a daily basis that by the time the evening comes around I want to crawl under the covers and forget my name!

This week has been a rough one. I'm hoping that 2010 is a much better year for us...because if its not I want a refund!

I have been to the er my fair share of times within the week. Gianna decided to jump off of the kitchen bench and swan dive to the tile floor, using her cheek and temple as a buffer. We got to get very close with the county emt's and took an ambulance tour of the town ending up in the waiting room of the local hospital. After almost having a stroke with that, we found out she has a very hard head, lol, and she has a concussion...Not that you would know that by the way she acts. As soon as she got home she scaled the back of the couch and landed on the dog.

I was in there too right before Christmas, with my wrist. Wish they could have told me what the issue was with it, but they are basic there of course. I got the cover all, follow up with your doc..yep, great, thanks for the bill @@
I"m waiting on an mri now, praying I won't need surgery. That woudl really suck, seeing its my right hand and welp, I happen to be right handed. Six weeks to recover isn't looking too good to me.

Other then that...life has just been such. Crazy and entertaining.

Happy New Year.

Happy New Year!

I am making a resolution to not neglect my blog so much. I will post something at least once a week...that's really 52 posts a year. I think I can do it. lol
Let's see how long it takes to break that one, haha.

We have been in full swing here with the kids home. they go back to school on MONDAY :) woohoo! Back to normal here again. Is it sad that I still didn't take the tree down yet, or the outside lights. I'm really well meaning but just never get to do it.
Christmas was great. Santa was generous here, and the kids enjoyed every minute of it (so did we)
I made the cutest had for my friend, Peter was a good sport and modeled it...I think I can use the pics as blackmail, lol

and here are a few of my Favorite Christmas morning pics :)

On a better note

here are some pictures of the Gingy house we made.

The kids had a really fun time, even though missy didn't make it to the pics, lol

Gianna's Update from Last week.

Wendsday 12/3:
She has had another fever for two days, hitting 105.2 yesterday. We took her into the er as opposed to her doc bc I think he is just missing something. So we've gotten a referral to another ped from the hossy.she had bloods drawn twice, they are culturing them, and doing titers on her. she also had urine done, they had to cath her. it was very unpleasant. The er doc was a fuck head, who was pissy that she wasn't a *severe emergency ..prick.we are waiting for her labs to be sent to the new ped and have an appointment in the morning...I hope they can tell my why this poor baby is getting fever so high every three to four weeks.she is cranky and fussy, not eating well at all, and just overall miserable.I hope to have some better news in the morning.but that's it in a nutshell. when I feel more up to it I will fill you in on what an asshole the doctor was @@lets just say we wound up with patient services and his supervisor came in to finish our stay...the ass wouldn't even come back near our room!

Thursday12/4:
She spiked up again to 105.1 and broke into a fever rash, she was dosed with Motrin & Tylenol and put in the warm bath, we got her down to a manageable 102.5, thankfully she stayed around there most of the night. After she came down to the 102 her fever rash went away. we got up through the night checking her.

Friday's update 12/5:
we met with her new ped this morning. He does in fact think that there is something wrong with her after going over all her records and the er records (this was the 2nd time she was seen in the er for high tem...Emily remembers the last frantic call, lol)They think there is something wrong, but they don't know what we were sent back in today to do another set of labs, this time they are testing for all kinds of lymes, rocky mountain spotted fever & catscratch fever. They have not ruled out juvinile reumitory authritis. If these labs don't produce something we will be sent to childrens hospital in Charleston, and the infectious disease people will start to poke around to see what they can come up with. Our visit today was a nice one. We really like the new pediatrician (so far) I'm hoping it doesn't change with the vax'ing issues. That wasn't bought up today, and he did review her records while we were sitting there. We are truly praying that it is nothing at all, other then a sick little girl with a seasonal bug. But I feel its not.The oddity to us all is that if it were simply viral SOMEONE else, ANYONE else would get her germs and be sick, kwim. All we can do now is wait and see.

Tuesday 12/9:
Almost all her labs came back normal. We are wating on one more the catscratch fever test. It can take the longest for soem reason.
Now its just a waiting game, wait and see if she gets sick again :-/ then get a plan of action together. I think we will be going back in to meet with the ped after all the official results come back and see where we go from here.

Halloween Pics

I am so bad about updating lately.
We did have a terrific Halloween. Gianna was really cute once she realized that people would give her candy...and she would get more candy by being cute. Needless to say she hammed it up! We didn't get as many kids this year. So I have an assload of candy left over. And my ass is getting larger by the day as I munch on it.
It got so bad that Pete hid the candy, lol. I did later find it...why did I go looking for it ::sigh::

Okay well I know all you want are the pics so here goes :)

Religion Class

Last week Peter came home from religion class and told us that we needed to vote for John Mc Cain. It made little to no sense to us, but he never elaborated so we really didn't push the topic with him. He never bought it back up again.
Well this past Wednesday when I was dropping him off to class, my fiend Amanda pulled me aside and asked me if Peter came home talking politics to me. I told her what he had said and she told me that wasn't the half of what was said in the class.
The teacher stated to NINE year old children, to have them tell their parents to vote for John Mc Cain, because Barrack Obama KILLS BABIES. He believes in abortion and kills babies and we can't have a man like that in the white house. WTF@@So I pulled peter out of the room and asked him, exactly what his teacher has told him the prior week, about why we should vote for Mc Cain. And he verbatim told me what my friend Amanda said. You can imagine that my blood was boiling. These are NINE year old kids...Nine.

They still believe in Santa & the tooth fairy, and you have someone introducing this to them.I had to go into the directors office and write out a formal complain about this. Then in talking to Pete, he told me that last week he went in to pick up peter from his class and she made a big deal about Peter having an earring in his ear.
She asked him to turn his head, so she could see the other ear, and proceeds to say to my husband, good only one, and I see its in the proper ear.

This Bitch is a politically charged BIGOT!

So the other day I needed to explain to my nine year old little boy, what an abortion was, and why he only has one earring in his ear @@She is supposed to be teaching my kids their Hail Mary's not teaching them about gay's and abortion.Well today the director called me back and said that this teacher denied the conversation being the way that it was with the kids. Well you can imagine that I went off on her. I told her all the above that it was not her place and so on . I also told her my poor son thought that his baby sister was going to get killed in her sleep, because of the way that it was put to him. Because at this age they have no clue on abortion. she never explained what an abortion was, just that it kills babies. Needless to say that I was not the only parent that complained (I made sure to stir that pot up while I was waiting and fuming outside that night).
She was not there last Wednesday, which I'm glad of because who knows what she would have said to these kids then. The director told me that she was teaching them the 5th commandment of thou shall not kill, But this went way over the line.I told her I could care less what the churches stance on Gay's Gay Marriage or abortion were. To have it brought up in a class full of nine year old children was beyond inappropriate.
They have removed her, she will not be able to teach at the church anymore, and not be able to be around the children at all. And we will be going in for a conference with her the director and the priest.
That I can't wait for too!!!I'm bringing Peter in with an Obama shirt and I will be wearing an Obama Mama shirt. Just so the bitch can choke on it!

A lot of nothing.

Not much to update as of late.

Soccer is winding down. Tonight is the last game. Ant's coach was sucky this year. I hope spring is better.

Still no word on Peter's BB test.

Gianna is a funny girl. Dance is going well. She had a costume party on Monday...We found out she HATES her costume with a passion. But after what was spent on it there is no room in the budget for a new one...sorry kid, lol

I did a great pair of longies last week, and I loved them.

I'll be starting on tea sets and cupcake pillows for Christmas. I have pics but they're not mine. I hope to have the first tea set done by monday. If Gianna lets me use both my hands I need to learn to crochet with one hand, lmao!!
